Hi folks,
I just got my first gravel bike, a giant revolt 1 2024. Loving it so far, looking forward to getting fitter and being able to ride further!
What I would like to know, is how tubeless ready is my bike? It says on the rims and tyres that they are tubeless ready (tyres are crosscut AT2) so is it just a case of taking out the inner tube, getting valves and sealant and away we go?

Judging by the valves it’s probably tubeless already. They often come that way from new.
The valves suggest to me that it’s tubeless already. See the fat bit in the valve stem before the rim? You don’t get that on tubes. But if that’s not convincing you, yeah you’d have to take the tyre off. I wouldn’t bother. Carry a tube if you wish. I do. But dynaplug is my go-to answer to the P word.
Giant revolt 1 comes tubeless from the factory. You just need to add sealant. Look up a tutorial for adding the sealant.
Other than that you are good to go. Have fun with the bike
Fellow Giant Revolt 1 user here yes it is setup already tubeless by default, I just recently switched to slick road ultra sport 3 conti tires in 32mm size. I just handed it to my LBS and they returned back the Tubeless Valves as I am using butyl inner tubes for the new slick tires. Good luck!
