Hoping someone can help me find the right bolts for this crank arm. I’ve got some spare hex bolts that fit the smaller holes pinching the arm to the spindle but is there a bigger bolt that threads directly into the spindle and what is it?
Tried Google for the answer and the bolts that I ordered didn’t fit when they arrived

Look for 105 Crank Arm Fixing Bolt
I don‘t know if it’s the same system but my GRX and my SLX crankset have a plastic preload bolt there, you tighten with a special tool to about 2nm, so the cranks get pulled together and then you tighten the pinch bolts to 12nm and these are the bolts that really hold the crankset together, the plastic bolt is just for preload. You might need to look for something like this: https://www.bike-components.de/de/komponenten/antrieb/kleinteile/?upid=google&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20635661646&utm_content=&utm_term=&gclid=Cj0KCQjwh7K1BhCZARIsAKOrVqEpGaBqidLDQOJuTZfyyuWfATLXQPlZurl_gJjwhNC9o7Om34UcsxAaAoDTEALw_wcB&o=1000091596
what model cranks are they? it’ll be written on the back
It’s called a preload cap, just search for ‘105 preload cap’ and find someone close to you with one. Otherwise just hit up your LBS.
you could even borrow one from a friend for 5 min. It’s only used to push your cranks against the BB until you tighten the pinch bolts.
Have you tried cleaning the threads out? They look maybe a bit dirty? Maybe damaged? Could that be why other fixing bolt didn’t go in? Could you get it onto the spindle without the crank arm in place?
