Use The Bike Lane

Why do cyclists never use the bike lane?
1) bike lanes are so effective at moving cyclists*
2) too cruddy for use
3) paint doesn’t protect from car crashes
4) cars straddle/park there
5) all of the above

* also the reason why no one ever sees a downhill road-cyclist, only uphill ones
