1990 Haro Rage 6 Speed BMX/Adventure Bike

Spotted this on my local Craigslist and a friend who lives nearby the seller is scoping it out for me. I am 5' 7" so it probably won't be too useful for me, but my nephews are growing like weeds. Although it would be cool to get some old Profile cranks, Odyssey triple-trap pedals, and really go in with period-specific upgrades, I think I'll settle for putting a Wald basket on the front so it can be Baby's First Bikepacker. Haro made a second model, the Intense, in 24", which with its chrome frame would be very enticing.

Anybody have any experience with this or similar bikes of the era? I was six when this was in production, but my first "real" BMX was a Haro Fusion circa 1996.
