Cyclone Kirsti, bringing heavy rain and strong winds, has caused widespread damage and power outages in Riga and Jelgava. Hundreds of trees uprooted, roads have been taken over by floodwaters.
Due to storm damage, there was no electricity on Monday morning in the parishes of Salgale, Jaunsvirlaukas, Livbērze, Zalenieki, Kalnciem, Platone, Lielplatone, Gluda, as well as Cenu and Ozolnieki.

У нас было похоже только дома не затопило так как наше место на возвышенности
Неужели нельзя водоотводы делать? У нас каждый год ливни летом бывают, а весной таянье снега. Ничего! Все уходит в реки. Вот опять в этом году местами ремонтируют … сибирь она такая.
