Anyone try these and know if they’re real or fake leather? Or if they hold up at least. I tried the all-city ones and the rivets blew out, bought another pair and they updated the design to pleather which shredded fast and looked like garbage. I know MKS makes a set but they’re considerably more expensive, so id rather get these if they’re not trash.

I can’t really tell from the photo, but the price indicates to me these are probably not real leather.
I get it if you have a vintage bike and want to serve looks or whatever but I tried straps after running clips for two years and holy shit I felt like I was gonna die the whole time. Can’t recommend spd’s enough, so much easier to skid and backpedal. And they look cleaner.
At that price point I’d expect them to be “genuine leather” which is the lowest grade of leather on the market, made from ground up left over cuts held together with glue. So while it is technically made of leather, the grain structure that gives leather it’s durability is destroyed. I wouldn’t get them
