I need to replace my Supercycle bike since it’s too small, the front brakes stick and the rear brakes don’t work. I will only use my bike about once a week to go to work and back, and I may use it to get to the bus stop too, until I get a car.
Since I won’t be using it a lot, I want to spend less than 200 Canadian dollars. It seems my only options are either a used bike or a new Canadian Tire bike. I saw this Raleigh one for 70 bucks, is the price too low (meaning it might be stolen?), or is this an average price for used Raleigh bikes? Could you recommend me any brands and bikes to look out for on the used market? I am also considering buying a CCM bike on clearance for $150. Thanks!

Assuming everything works yeah. But the chain has rusted so it’s been left outside a lot and possibly not taken care of well
The pictured bike may have been $200 new from Walmart or Target so it may only be worth $50.

Better used bike brands to look for will be Trek, Giant, Specialized, Cannondale, Fuji, GT, Marin, KHS, Rocky Mountain, Norco, Diamondback…..
