Ive owned a few entry level bikes over the years and have been wanting to get a touring/gravel bike for a while now. Stumbled across this locally. Im assuming its a good price since he dropped it by 50%. Id like to use to for trips. Any advice? Whats up with the handlebars btw?

Jones bars are great touring bars. Aero to upright.
I’d probably go for it if I was looking. I used to have a Cross Check, and I loved it. I found it unexpectedly springy when diving into corners, though, which took a bit of getting used to.
That’s a deal. Cross checks are versatile bikes and will hold their value. The upgraded components are nearly the price they are asking.
Act fast, don’t let this one go away.
The only reason not to buy that bike is not having $650.
