Turn the AC up or the thermostat down, take your pick.😊 The cicadas blend somewhat with my tinnitus. I use high quality headphones with your videos so I can hear everything, that's part of the experience. And noise doesn't bother me cuz I've been a ham radio guy for 46 years, and I'm used to QRN (noise). QSL?(OK?) 🤗

Had three weeks with cicadas near Carcassonne. Sometimes quite deafening.
If it's any consolation, Trinny is now silent, compared with the cicadas, something to get used to, another lovely cycle, well done.
AC could heat as well, they even make music instruments that sound like them, hear them enough it's becomes a brown noise, nice route !
Pont Saint Esprit didn't seem like a nice town. (kinda nasty)
I wondered if the cicadas sounded as loud in real life as they did on camera. But then you said it anyway. It's also good that you booked a hotel room for that reason as well. If you had to sleep in a tent surrounded by these cicadas, I don't think you would get much sleep at night.
