Well that cut my ride short

This usually is from a bent RD hangar and when upshifting it catches the spokes. A chain breaker and a quicklink would’ve got you home.

Awe, that sucks. The hanger probably cracked when you had your fall and finally gave way on this ride. Hopefully only the hanger needs to be replaced and the derailleur, wheel and spokes survived.
