Hey, I‘m quite new to mountainbike and have almost no clue about parts. Tried to get my shifting right for a hour but it still doesn‘t work. Did it a couple of times before and always managed to get it to work. Took a closer look and it looks odd to me. But I have nothing to compare it to and have never seen a really bent derailleur so I don‘t know if mine is bent and needs to be replaced. Thanks for your help.

looks possibly like it may have pulled out of the hanger a little? have you tried tightening that bolt?
Looks like your actual detaileur is cross threaded on the hanger. Hopefully the threads are not damaged. The hanger looks ok, hard to tell without an alignment tool.
Yes or it’s been installed with a hammer. The hanger looks straight but obviously those threads look extremely cross threaded. Probably just need a new hanger I doubt the threads on the mech will be damaged.
