Mauricio Moreira, 29-year-old Uruguayan cyclist, was until yesterday a great unknown to many, despite having won the Volta Portugal 2022. However, his collapse in the middle of a stage of the Volta Portugal 2024 emulating the legendary doped Jesus Manzano makes us wonder if cycling has really changed, or if in Portugal there is still the same doping orchard as always. This is the story of Mauricio Moreira, from his beginnings under the arms of his father Federico Moreira to his collapse in the middle of the competition.
Correction : Mauricio Moreira already raced as a stageaire for Caja Rural during the 2017 campaign, winning small-town races like the Vuelta Segovia (hence the photo with Probenecid Delgado) or the Vuelta Zamora.

  1. Let us put this into perspective to all the doubters out there. The more "shithole countries" (to quote Trump) you go, the less the testing, in some cases, zero occurs. South America is a perfect example, most of those countries either have no money for testing, no labs, no set up, simplamente nada, ya esta. How do I know, I was a sports journo and spoke with many a Colombian, Bolivian, Paraguayan, now imagine parts of Africa, are you starting to get the picture.

  2. It's obvious that he doesn't have the love of a 47y old woman , or the strength of lovely 🛢️ Oil/Dollars to flush…
But jokes-a-side , could be just a normal heat stroke it was 38c ..

Keep the good videos, and dont forget to mention all friends of the channel your forgot our favourite dane here .😂😂😂😂

  3. I'm Portuguese and I live near Spain, I've always liked cycling and on the weekends I like to go cycling, but when I know that there are people who dope just to leave their friends behind on the weekends… There's not much to do…unfortunately

  4. Bro how the h*ck this guy has all this information and newspaper cuts when this literally happened less than 48 hours ago 😭A brilliant plot twist would be if this guy is doctor Ferrari himself, doping the peloton and having the videos prepared even before things happen 😂

  5. If you're willing to look into the medical impact of doping, why not look into the medical impact of those vaccines from a few years back? Myocarditis might be a factor, other heart issues, a host of other serious problems. Those "waxcines" have taken down many soccer players as well.
