I’ve ummed and aahed about getting some here, loads to choose from, probably helps on long rides. Good place to hang a bag of shopping from too 😄

  2. I still run them, I do have carpal tunnel issues though having multiple places to put my hands helps. Besides like you said back in the day everyone had them, I’ve just gotten too used to them I guess.

I have had bullhorns as well as Ergon GP5’s. Having multiple hand positions rocks.

  4. Right there with you. I want to stick with a flat bar, but I need more hand options. I ran stubby bar ends back in the day and feel a little naked without them. On the other hand, the rubber grip ends make the whole thing a bit more tidy and manageable. It’s a silly thing, but I like that I don’t have to worry about scratching the car on my way out the driveway, and shit like that.

So… I’m counting the minutes until my neighborhood shop opens on Wednesday so I can buy the (period appropriate) [Scott bullhorn bars](https://bikerecyclery.com/scott-at-2-lf-taper-lite-flite-handlebar-bullhorn-mtb-combination-560mm-x-25-4mm-near-mint-low-miles/). Hoping they will be the best of both.

Inner position is great. At the end of the bar is pretty useless, it makes you sit like you’re hugging a barrel
