Looking to buy a full sus XC bike and I am contemplating on a Cervelo ZFS-5 GX AXS T Type ($4063) 100mm or a Santa Cruz Blur R TR NX Eagle ($3799) 120/115mm travel. Do I really need the extra 20mm of travel as a rider in the PNW? Like to enter some races too.

It seems that of a preference is going toward longer travel XC bikes. I have the zfs5 120 XT and its a phenominal bike.
From a value perspective the cervelo wins. That is a huge drivetrain upgrade for little price.
