    Common sense ?

Obviously it’s risky. Something might go wrong but also might not.

With the fly zipped up? Very dangerous, high risk of death due to asphyxiation (I know of someone who died in this exact way). Absolutely do not do this.

With the fly open? Also dangerous IMO, just takes one mistake to turn your tent into a bonfire with you inside.

Bags are fine, in my experience considerably less likely to kill you.

iam completely outside just using a little part of the roof but if u say its a risk i will listen

  4. many tents are actually very flammable. some tents even say they aren’t, but then they burst into flames.

that said if you are very careful with your tiny jetboil it’s probably fine.

Your deluge of posts here is incredibly annoying (thanks to reddit I have already reached my 1000 idiot block limit).

99% of your 100 questions here could be solved with a little bit of critical thinking and common sense. Or maybe just have an experience instead of relying on us to make every decision for you?

This is not advice, don’t do this, don’t be like me.

I use my jetboil for morning coffee in that space every time I camp.

It’s not dangerous, but you should be careful. As said above, your tent is very flammable. If possible I always cook outside my tent. When there are strong winds, I first try to make a barrier by using my backpack (or other stuff). If you have two backpacks, you can make a small corner and put your stove in the corner. Or sit behind your tent and us your backpack to cover the sides.
But if that’s not possible you can cook ‘in the little space’, just make sure your stove is flat on the ground and can’t fall.

I always leave my backpack in next to the tent. Never put it inside.
