Running this 28c tire on 21mm internal width rim, around 2000km now.
I weight 90kg so inflated it to 81psi today.
During downhill maybe I run over a small stone or something, heard a huge explosion, BANG!
Stopped, the sealant is everywhere, but the tire still got some pressure, managed to back home.
After arrived, check the pressure was 52psi.
Didn’t see any puncture on the outside, but the black rubber seems peel off at this area, and some sealant bubble is leaking.
I suggest the puncture on the cotton layer, and the pressure and sealant went off under the rubber to the side?
Do I need to glue the rubber back? Or just leave it overnight to see if it stops leaking?

  1. Vittoria is trash in my experience – if someone have problems with road tyres in our club, it’s 99% Vittoria or similar Italian cotton tyres.
    But they roll fast, yes
