Installed a set of Panaracer Gravelking SS+, tubeless and went for a ride. During the ride I had to stop quickly and locked the rear brake at around 18mph, which led to a skid on packed gravel. When I got home I noticed the Panaracer decal, which I had centered above the valve stem, is now 5-6 inches off – the tire must’ve slid on the rim. Didn’t lose any air or sealant. Sorta weird! Fixing it now, because having the decal not centered above the valve would bother me. Didn’t know this could happen, must’ve taken a lot of force to spin the tire on the rim like that.
The SS+ are nice, so far feels as grippy as the SK, at least on hard packed gravel, and faster than the SK on pavement.

Pretty interesting phenomenon! What PSI were you running?
I notice that on my GK’s the graphic is not aligned between the two sides. Could that be it? For vanities sake i have mine lined up opposite the valve on the drive side.
Love my Aspero! I thought my GKs moved, but sure enough the logos were not lined up on opposite sides. I’m still not convinced they didn’t move. I also had my tubeless GK blow off my rear wheel on a warm day. I was riding tarmac and inflated to 45 lbs. Boom! Sealant everywhere. Luckily I had a tube with me. Now I won’t go above 35 lbs on my 700×38.
