Condom, of course. To put over your bike computer when it rains.

$50 bill. (In case hookers or blow are available on course)

  3. credit card and $20,

And a old ID if you want to be ID’d if you have a crash.

I also carry a couple one dollar bills if I pass a lemonade stand. The $20 is case I want a beer.

Chain lubricant and a microfibre cloth. If it rains or you cycle far enough you will need more chain lubricant and to dry the chain.

Having 2 tubes is a confidence booster. Also some kind of cloth for wiping things off. Those WetWipes are useful and don’t take up a lot of space. A Park spoke wrench.

  6. Reflective vest and one of those compressed plastic ponchos, assuming you ever go out in anything that isn’t clear, sunny midday.

  7. Are the red things tire wrenches?

I carry a crank bros multi tool with chain breaker. It’s super compact.
    1 tube.
    1 tire wrench.
    1 patch kit.

Chain breaker/multi tool (crank brothers makes a nice one) and the Wolftooth Master link pliers are 100% awesome.

    – Chain break or multi-tool w/chain break.

    – I’d carry a TPU tube as a spare, and drop the bulky and heavy slime tube which will be more of a mess than worth it.

    – quick link
