Just yielding a bike for the first time and my chain is rather noisy on the rear sprocket. I think my chain line isn’t quite lined up? Can I space out the rear sprocket? Anything else I should look for/try?

Your chain looks a little tight. Should have a little slack.
Looks like an irezumi chain, is it? They are generally really loud when the are new. It took a few months for mine to break in and sound normal.
brand new chain. and it’s izumi. it’s getting used to your cog and drivetrain. don’t worry about it just ride it’ll go away soon enough
What kind of cog do you have? Could be the combo between chain and cog. I have a super toughness. Used to be loud after a while it broke in, and I just use some lube.
Needs some lube at least, try the waxy kind.
The Izumi’s apparently last well but are notorious for their loudness. I have never bought one but instead went for a lighter version of a cheap and reliable KMC:

I wax them but even when I didn’t they are very close to silent (and once waxed, they are silent).
Izumi Super Toughness are usually loud.
Just wanna say my new super toughness on a fresh build isn’t even close to this loud
it looks like it’s too tight
