  1. Mount it on a front rack. It’s more secure and sits lower which is good for balance. It also creates more room for your payload.

  2. Zip ties where the rim of the basket touches the handlebars. Loosen the brackets, attach zip tits, re-tighten brackets.

    Rubber shims between the bar and the rack mounts. If you bought new, some should have come with it.

    In my opinion, cut the basket struts to fit your needs.
    If you are using the axle mounts on the bottom of the struts to fasten the basket to the wheel then trim down the top of the basket struts that attach to the bottom of the basket.
