Probably just to devote some time to it. Stuff you knew before should come back quick.
Don’t use wd40 for anything on a bike!
I’m my experience BMX is about the long haul and the practice.
So I can 180, but can I do it off stuff? Can I do it up stuff? Does it look clean? Can I half cab out? Can I slider out? Do I indian give? — you get my point.
BMX tricks (to me) aren’t really worth much until you have them looking effortless and easy to the average person. The only thing that creates that type of consistency is time.
The more time you spend cruzin around and getting the feel for your bike, the more natural things will come.
You said you fell in love with the gym. I can appreciate that. BMX is basically the same .. you gotta spend the time and get in the reps. There are always exceptions, but for the vast majority of people practice makes perfect…gotta get out there and have a good time doing it
