Marin IFT (1995 I believe), this is my true xbike cause it sees the most miles and adventure. Got bluewalls, previous owner added the SID and V-brakes. It’s a real xbike cause I spent more on tires than the whole bike. Does dirt, does single track, does make me happy every time I ride it. Does also need a good cleaning and a shine. Who else is riding shiny bikes?

This is wonderful! I had no idea aluminium bikes were around in the mid nineties.

  2. Tbh I will stan steel all day but some people will treat alu like it’s explosive ordinance for some reason. I’ve had more issues with Carbon over the years than Alu (just make sure to grease that Alu to Alu parts haha)

  3. I kept looking for a nice IFT but never found a cheap example. They must be great bikes (Although I did hear about head tubes cracking)
