Somehow didn’t notice the ants until after I fixed it and test rode it. Guess they got irritated after riding it around. Has this happened to anyone before????

Crazy ants, they get into electronics too. You might want to pop the grips off and see if there’s nesting in there. Toss the grips in a ziplock bag with a towel soaked in isopropyl for 30 mins , spray some insecticide or stuff some isopropyl towels in the bar ends and that should do it.
