So I measured the width of the rear triangle today, and to my surprise it actually is less than the needed 12.5 for the t type axs mount. Did I measure right? Do I neee the shim in there? Warranty on the frame? I will say when I took it all apart then put it all back together, it did feel a lot better but still some play.

Do you have engineering drawings or a specification for the 12.5mm dimension? Like tolerances +/-?
I’m guessing cheap caliper has pretty shit measurement accuracy as well, so you can’t just rely on that.
