Genesis Day One 10 2019. Would it be possible to convert this bike from a fixie to a multi-speed bike capable of shifting? Is there enough space between both points of the rear axle to fit a sprocket? And what other modifications would be necessary! Thanks in advance.
I should say that I would not have considered a conversion if the bike was not listed at £200. I have built bikes in the past, bled brakes, fixed hangars, tensioned wheels and serviced forks/floats so I am pretty hands on and looking for a new challenge.

You’d need to measure the dropouts.. can’t answer that without taking measurements ourselves and ideally trying it with a geared hub.
Does the frame have any way to connect a derailleur, an attachment point for a hanger? Probably not.
A good deal isn’t a good deal if it doesn’t meet your needs.
There are derailer hangers available that fit “track end” aka horizontal adjustable dropouts without modifying the frame. If the rear ends spacing is 130 or 135mm, you could do it. You might need a different rear wheel or hub if that one only has space for a single cog.
Keep it singlespeed! If the gearing is too hard for hills, you can make it a bit easier with a smaller chainring on the cranks or a larger cog on the rear.
