It’s plastic so you could paint it, would probably look like shit within a month tho so it’s probably not worth it
If you’re ready to service the brakes and remove the plates first, then yeah you CAN paint them. I’d consider a hardening clear coat (like 2k clear) as a final coat if you don’t want to have to repaint after a handful of rides.
Yes. Sand first with a very fine sandpaper or fine steel wool so the paint adheres strongly.
