I plan on doing my usual Saturday morning ride but I noticed a gash in my tire this morning. I plan on replacing the tire but is it safe to ride while I wait for the replacement?
If the tyre isn’t bulging at that point of damage, then it’s likely fine. You’re at increased risk of a puncture at the point, but personally I’d have no problems riding that while I waited for a replacement. I mean, I’ve seen people come into the shop riding waaaaaay worse than that

The tire is what is separating you from the pavement. The tire is clearly compromised. There are myriad ways for that to give and take you down. It’s one thing to roll the dice on a beach cruiser doing 15kph. Do what you want, but there is no way I’d go out for a ride at 30kph with a rip in my tire.

Should be ok, but do not take any corners at speed on that side (or any side really) and realize your chances of flatting are probably significantly higher.

Ideally, no. But it will probably be “fine”.
If you are riding and you feel a bump on the rotation, I would slow down immediately and not ride more than say 20kmh because when it pops it will be an instant flat and you’ll loose grip asap.
Looks like it’s on the rear too so more pressure on it than the front

That’s pretty small, it’ll be fine.

Put a drop of superglue on it. Press it shut.

I would use some gel superglue to close the hole and not even worry about it. Enjoy your ride!

Absolutely not.
If you’ve got a tube in it it’ll be fine
