
See attached image. I had to replace the tube on my rear tyre. When I tried to re assemble, the bikes stuck in really high gear and won’t change. I’m not familiar with these set ups and didn’t take note when disassembling. Silly me I know. But pls help. TIA

Stick it back in the hole in the middle of the axle and screw it in clockwise until it stops
It looks like the threaded tip of your indicator spindle has snapped off. For reference, it should look like this:

I think you’ll want to identify your Sturmey-Archer hub model so you can find an assembly guide to extract the tip and source the correct replacement spindle.
