We’ve been in a new building for 3 months (only once a week, but still) and I still haven’t been granted badge access to the bike room despite multiple follow-ups, so yes.
I use the bike rack in front of the police station. I have never locked my bike in 15 years of commuting.

100%, every time. I was approached by a colleague about it once and nonchalantly compared parking my bike outside to leaving a couple grand of cash unattended, they completely understood my decision after that. It also helped that the day I started working they had someone break into their “secured” bike locker.

My office building has a locked bike storage room inside the building so I park there. Would not park outside.

Every time. I did lock my e-bike up in the parking garage but I always double-locked it with a coupla heavy-duty locks. Plus, theoretically only people with keycard access could get into that room.
Emil I ever had to lock it up outside i’d only do so line of sight from the security desk. Fortunately my road bike weighs 20lbs so it’s pretty easy to take upstairs to my office with me lmao. The 75lb e-bike was a far different matter

the last two offices I worked at did have bike lock ups in the underground parking. One was better with a secure room just for bikes. I had to ride all the way around to the back alley and use the vehicle entrance. Hated it as the alleys are awful in the winter and the ramps get icy.
Both places I asked if I could take it through the lobby instead. Both places, genius security said no because it would make the the lobby floor dirty, especially in the winter. But everyone else coming in with wet, dirty boots are ok…

I’d absolutely keep my bike in my office if I didn’t work from home, and biked to work.
The R5 isn’t a small chunk of change – I’d probably want to admire my bikes during the day too.

I never leave mine in the bike locker of my office building. Always in my office or any empty room/storage closet in our office if we have visitors. We have an Irish pub downstairs and they have given out the bike locker code to patrons in the past. Plus, I can’t bring myself to abandon my baby in there.
Mine used to live in my cabin on a navy base. Wasn’t going to take the chance of pissed up sailors ransacking a bike shed.

I did that several times… until a co-worker copied me, then the HR person said we couldn’t bring vehicles into the office. It’s always someone who thinks a bike is something you leave laying out in the yard.

My work has a basement that’s designed to flood (it’s on the habour that generally floods once every couple of years), so I usually lock it up in there. Just need to remember not to do that when there’s heavy rain.

One of our locations has outdoor bike lockers with serious locks. Our other location has an indoor, secured bike room with racks to lock to. So on the rare occasions that I go to the office, I tend to lock up.
All of my bikes live inside with me otherwise.

My work has a utility room used for receiving small shipments etc, accessible from a door on the first floor. They let me park my bike there and I’m so thankful. I live and work in an area with a lot of crime so I don’t know what I’d do otherwise.
