Those aren't small homes but rather garden sheds. People will rent or buy a little garden plot with a shed because most don't have homes with gardens (yards). Sometimes the sheds have running water and they will put a small table but no not homes. More like a little shed or cottage.
Very interesting, as always. Thanks for the tour of Hamburg & all the info. I love your excitement at discovering new places. Those canals & brick warehouses, along with the "carpet sidewalks" were esp. interesting as was the history. (And somehow that reminded me of a previous video where actual trees were used for support beams in a barn.) Your videos are the best kind of "travelogue" – real stuff. Glad you had a nice campsite courtesy of that app, & a shower, too! Looking forward to the next video!

Surprised your hotel even had a fan. Pretty much no where in Germany has ac or fans. It's all about lüften. Opening the windows for fresh air.
I'm the same way cool things are so exciting….thank you for being the narrator of such an awesome place ❤
I loved this video! Love Jack so much…❤

Those small houses are not actually dwellings. They are "colony plots".
It is so people in cities and towns can grow their own food.
