No need to hammer it out! I had to rotate my saddle a bit on my aeroad but the conic part of the seatpost clamp was stuck. I tried to hammer it out without any success but than I've tried to outsmart the design. I've tried to lever it out with an taped 8 mm allen key (taped to prevent damage). To my surprise, a little whack did the trick and both shells came out effortlessly! This is far easier and better for the material and you can do it with the seatpost still installed in the frame. This might be helpful for all grail / ultimate / aeroad owners who are struggling with the seatpost. I'd say for best result, measure the center hole of the insert (should be about 9 mm) and get a wooden stick that fits as snuggly as possible. Clean the conic surface of the seapost and apply only a tiny bit of friction paste to the surface and apply the required torque (15 nm for the "old" aeroad). I hope this will help out a few of you folks to enjoy your bikes a little more.

And be careful for clamp getting out. In my case leverage created a rocket bullet effect almost crushing the window..
