Don’t want to strip it any more. Already tried dripping lube into thread. Pads are worn through and were probably overheated.
Edit I used a smaller flathead because the reason it stripped in the first place was because I was lazily using a screw driver that was too big for it and it wasn’t getting enough engagement. What a stupid fucking design. What is wrong with m2 m3?

Drill it out and get one of the new 105 screws with an allen head?
Kinda risky though
Use a thicker flathead perhaps and be very very careful?
I definitely wouldn’t put it back in after you get it out regardless

I did this and what I did is split the caliper with the two bolts. Ensure the faces are clean and you’ll have to bleed them.

You’ll have to drill it out. Once these are stuck they’re impossible to break free. Vise grips will tear apart the head before it breaks loose. Put the adapter in a bench vise if you have one as you’ll need a fair bit of pressure and a sharp drill bit to break through. If you use the right size bit you should be able to chase the threads and LOOSELY install a new bolt, but worst case you can just use a cotter pin

Go to a shop. Wont be their first stuck screw. I got mine loose with the right size of screwdriver

Yeesh, I fear this scenario every time I go to check my pads. Penetrating oil and extraction bit?
