Hey people,
Me and my GF are currently in Avignon until friday and we want to continue to Monaco.
The thing is that there is a forecast of ~35°C for the days we want to cycle and my girlfriend is not that experienced aswell.
The eurovelo Route is quite a bit of a climb, I think i would still be fine but im kinda worried about my GF.
An online Website for Tour planning in france didn't even recommend going the EV and suggested this instead: https://www.komoot.de/tour/1730984516?ref=aso&share_token=aMoXJgzFvfOtX7Cnfmf87ayaG040GdozwokswiLleShUvRS2W4
I did a bit of replanning and the same Website did this, which is quite less climbing: https://www.komoot.de/tour/1730977502?ref=aso&share_token=aMNtkyWEbJrsOSwp8TgZEH6SmKRRxTCeRWf37VAwaXcxqaLBqm
Does anyone here have experiences with that Region who can help us? Thanks!

The Eurovelo route will be on beautiful, quiet roads and/or dedicated cycling lanes. The other route suggested, especially by the will likely be full of cars and probably not very enjoyable to cycle, especially in peak summer season.
It is quite a climb and if your partner wouldn’t enjoy that, I would suggest taking alternative routes
For example you can cycle from Avignon along canal paths north to Lyon or tak3 the Eurovelo route southwest to Agde. I’ve cycled both and they are relatively flat, very pretty and much more laid back than the mountain route to Monaco.
To escape the heat, wake up early and cycle in the morning, then take a long lunch break and cycle again once it cools down.
