Theoretically, this is a good price for a Caad8, but there’s two points here that make me doubt that this bike has been well cared for.
The chain has fallen off the chainring to the inside (that’s why the chain is so slack),which can happen, but someone who knows about bikes would put it back on before taking the photo.
More worryingly, there seems to be a full length outer brake cable (the rubber hose going around the actual steel brake cable) ziptied to the top tube. The Caad8 doesn’t use a full length outer, but [two tabs on either side](https://media.karousell.com/media/photos/products/2021/3/7/cannondale_road_bike_caad_8_1615088637_6c8328b8_progressive.jpg) that allow for that cable to run ‘naked’ in between. The ziptied outer makes me think that either someone inexperienced has worked on this frame (bad) or that these tabs are somehow broken (worse).
So all in all, I’d probably look for a bike that looks less fishy. This might be a decent buy for an experienced DIY mechanic, but if you lack the knowledge you could be buying a money pit.
