Tadej Pogacar is going to win the 2024 Tour de France totally clean if he holds off Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel on stage 19 from Isola 2000, Bonette and Vars. However, Pogi himself has confessed us a secret, he inhaled carbon monoxide to achieve this success and therefore not doping, winning the yellow jersey clean and breaking doping records thanks to food and wheels. Mou also tells us that Dr. San Millรกn is a fraud and it is Javier Sola, the magic trainer from Sevilla, who is making Pogi fly as he did in Bahrain Victorious.

  1. I got it by now. Presumably most of the pros are doped. So what? Still I'm fascinated by the tour. That's why I watch Chris Horners channel. Very detailed information and fantastic presentation.

  2. @cyclinghighlights , I think we need a new character. The Dr who put the Anchovy back together again. Like the 6 million dollar man ๐Ÿ˜‚ . Ol humpty Anchovy fell off his bike. Plugge my Danish Anchovy is in pieces. Dr "?" , I can put him back together again on my island. Just saying

  3. His admission makes his victory suspicious. He did it, and others did not use it, he made himself in a position not equal to other cyclists. Even if the substance is not drug it makes Tadej in a position where he will be scrutinised like Armstrong in the past.

  4. Of course, CO is a compound that is not on the banned list, at least for the time being, however, "doping" in the context of professional sports, is categorised & in the case of CO, it would surely fall into the "blood booster" classification. CO has a greater affinity with haemoglobin, than O2, therefore, in the presence of both O2 & CO, haemoglobin will bind with CO more readily than O2. At altitude, the percentage of O2 in the air, is considerably lower than it is at sea level……human physiology adapts to the consequent hypoxia by increasing production of red blood cells which facilitates an increased delivery of O2 to the cells of organs & other tissues…..as the body acclimatises to the altitude, hypoxia dissipates & with it, the mechanisms of the physiology for increased erythrocyte production. The CO is delivered to the athlete to force further hypoxia & again, prompts the physiology to react by further production of of red blood cells. CO administration & use is irrefutably a PED & just because it is not classified as a banned substance yet, it does not change the fact that it is "doping". I have no doubt that it will be illegal & appear on the banned substance list, in the very near future.

  5. I donโ€™t understand the hematocrit value is so important for these riders that they have to know the value by using carbon monoxide rebreathers for testing if they donโ€™t want to temper with it (keeping it within the norm so they donโ€™t get suspected) ๐Ÿ˜‰ Using these machines is basically an indirect admission of some kind of blood doping.

  6. You're stealing all my best stuff. Are you and my wife in this together trying to steal "views". Brimming with sarcasm I can't help myself and relate all my best "snark" to her – 3 hrs later I'm listening/reading all my best lines from you. You're brilliant (I mean I am) and your (mine) uncanny recall of cycling most incredible (re: unbelievable like Froome GIRO 2018) accomplishments (travesties) is very unnerving – almost as if you're reading my mind or having an affair with my wife. Well anyways, Frankie is a great guy. George, not so much, so abuse Hincapie.

  7. Carbon monoxide rebreathers are a tough call. In some ways it's just an improvement on high altitude chambers, in others it's similar to training at altitude and drawing blood for a self-transfusion at race time (definitely not legal). "Hypoxia training" is all the rage, though, even for weekend warriors. That's basically what a co2 rebreather does. Induce hypoxia to simulate altitude. Anyway, I would guess at least 90% of the racers do the same. Doping? I'll allow it.

  8. In my opinion, it was unsportsmanlike for Pogi not to leave Jonas first place on stage 20. In the 1970s, dealing with each other was more human. That was not okay and Pogi did not prove to be a crowd favorite.
