I did col du grand st bernhard a few weeks ago and IT was amazing. Started in Aosta and only rode 3kms on the main road. On the swiss side i followed the main Road until martigney and i dont think there ist a good alternative. So i would recommend starting in italy 🙂

Many great Tour alpine HC climbs are missing like the Col du Granier, Col de Turini, Col de la Cayolle, and Col d’Allos…. I gave over checking after that as the map is incomplete. Good effort though 🙂
