Crack the bead, clean the inside of the effected area, stick some gorilla tape over the hole.
If you’re using sealant with particles, like Peaty’s Holeshot, you may even find the hole plugs without any kind of maintenance at all.

If money isn’t an issue, just change the tire, not because of safety, but for your sanity. Had a puncture and fixed it pretty easily. Felt fine and had no issues mechanically. But it kept eating away in my mind that it’s been patched…

it’s just a puncture. Patch from inside as advised, I’d also superglue from outside. Totally fixable and you shouldn’t stress afterwards about it.
