Softride Powercurve Qualifier 650 (1995?)

I picked this up several years back from a neighbor who learned I was into bikes. She kept talking about this old red road bike that she never rode that was just taking up space in her garage. I came home one afternoon and found it leaning up against our fence. I insisted that she accept some cash from me for it. She said she got it for free from a friend who worked at Softride–that it was a factory blemish model or something like that (she couldn't remember exactly.) It's in very near brand new condition. Original tires and tubes, as far as I can tell. They even hold air after 30ish years. 🤯
