  1. And it was a really bad hit, i spent 2 minutes face down on the hot asphalt, because I couldn’t move and I couldn’t breath (i hit my chest).
Some nice french people helped me and luckily i didn’t broke anything. Just a [few bruises](https://imgur.com/a/Dj7ip74).

I didn’t see the manhole because of course i was double checking for the cars, and I wasn’t expecting something like this in the middle of the crosswalk…
Nice is the one of the major cities of Tour the france, and everyone here use racing bikes. Anyway by bad for riding

Don’t ride on the pavement is the moral of the story. You might still of broken something aswell.

  3. At least the brake hood can just be moved back into position and tightened. Glad you’re relatively okay

Oh no! You poor thing. Wishing you a swift recovery. Cute illustrations btw 😄

It’s a crosswalk, not a crossbike. It’s designed for foot traffic, not riding. Glad you did not get more seriously injured and that bike will weather this hit just fine.

Sorry that happened OP. Exact thing happened to me but I luckily didn’t flip, I just slid forward and landed on my jewels. Rim isn’t perfectly round anymore so that’s a shame.
