I have limited funds for cycling, so a groupset upgrade is just not in the cards right now. SO I was stoked to come across the Wolf Tooth Roadlink, which drops the position of your rear derailure, allowing for larger cassettes that my Claris drivetrain normally wouldn't accommodate.
I decided to swing for the fences and went from an 11-34T to an 11-42T. All in with a new chain, cassette, and the road link I'm right about at $100 for the upgrade.
Unfortunately can't get out to ride for a few more days yet, but I'm anxious to feel a bit of relief in the hills.
Definitely check it out if you're on an entry-level bike and need some more help on the climbs for cheap!

You should get a new chain while your at it.
One of the best “upgrades” to make. Increases the fun factor by 1000%. I’ve done this on my carbon gravel bike and my old school steel commuter.
