Congrats!!! It may sound sentimental but you will never think of riding the same way from here forward. We are accustomed to a bike ride beginning and ending at the same point. However, riding to another place, being outside your house and familiarity does something to your conscientiousness as you stay with the place you traveled to.
Thank you for your post as it reminds me of some of my first trips away from home – out in the open spaces!
