Just finished my first tour from London to Istanbul!
Trying to find a cardboard bike box to pack my bike to fly it home and I’m having issues finding one. I fly out Tuesday. Any info of where I could find one would be much appreciated!

Go to a supermarket or a big hardware/furniture store and appropriate a pile of discarded cardboard. Shake off the cockroaches. Tape it around your bike.
We tried 3 different bike shops before having luck. Keep looking…..
I’m half Turkish, you can find one in “karaköy” or “eminönü” also you can ask for bike shops for box. Don’t get overpriced, ask locals over there for price.
I wish people would stop posting “Where do I get a bike box?” all. the. time.
Go to/call bike stores. If that doesn’t work, go to more bike stores. If that doesn’t work, make your own. wtf do you expect reddit to do? Call every bike store in the country for you?
İstanbul must be one of the easiest cities in the world to find cardboard and wrapping materials. It’s full of small shops where you can find almost everything you need. Just ask locals and you’ll find what you’re looking for very easily. I know there are a few wrapping item stores in Karaköy where you’ll be able to find cardboard and bubble wrap at a very decent price.
