Loving this bike so far. I made a post a little while ago debating between the Endurace and Grizl, and I ultimately decided I wanted more of a do-it-all bike that I could use for commuting and even take on a bikepacking trip later this year. I’m new to cycling and was only riding a run-down, early 2000s Giant road bike before. The Grizl is actually more or less just as fast on asphalt despite its heavier tires and wheels. Plus I took it on my first ever gravel ride and had so much fun!
Only issue is a loud creaking noise whenever I pedal in the highest gear. Maybe it’s the bottom bracket? Need to check that out soon.
I can’t lie though: I still ride mostly on paved roads and am thinking about getting a separate wheelset for roads. I have been browsing options from DT Swiss, Hunt, Light Bicycle, etc. but haven’t decided yet. If anyone has a 650b wheelset suited for the road that they can recommend, please share! At the same time, I’m also considering a second bike just for the road 😂
