New to gravel bikes after about 8 years of riding hiatus. I had a '95 Trek mountain bike and and 70s steel frame road bike which I converted into a single speed commuter. Wow… Bike tech certainly has changed (hydrolic disc brake? Drop seat post? What?). I got this REI ADV2.3 During their sale earlier this year. I'm having a blast! Now I just need to figure out how to discover gravel trails near Albany, NY.

    how are you liking the 1x setup? That’s my biggest hesitation with it.. though with a lot of 2x I do know you’re usually looking at 34 up front and 34 as your biggest in the rear so climbing is actually worse or the same for a 2x setup…
