Where is your quick release skewer? The ends of your axle should fit in the forks and the skewer tightens it up.

  2. I can’t really tell from the pics what is preventing the wheel from going into the dropouts. Was the wheel on there before? Maybe they are just a tiny bit too close together? If that’s the case, and it’s a steel fork, it’s totally fine to just flex them apart an extra mm or two to get the axle seated. Make sure your brake rotor isn’t binding up between the pads first.

  3. Was the wheel ever in the fork, or is this a new build? If new, confirm you have the correct brake caliper adapter for the rotor size. If not new, then I think you just need to try dropping it in from a different angle.

    And your skewer is missing.

  4. if that is a new bike then

    1) could be the disc brake is not alligned correctly so when you slide the rotor in it forces the wheel that way. Loosen the mounting bolts for the brake caliper so that it could move easily and see if the wheel will go into the drop outs

    2) the fork was damaged in shipping and the legs of the forks are bent in, or possibly misaligned. Get it to a bike shop and they can cold set it.
