  2. Its a wedge system (i think)
    shop put too much of the wrong grease

    Just remove the post and remove the grease in the cavity and put thin layer of carbon paste and push it back in and tightening it for the first time Hold the seat a tad so it dont rise and after a few rides it will be fine

    My ultimate does that, but it’s a minimal rise at best. It moves up maybe half of the space between lines. The wedge that holds the post moves up at a slight angle when tightening. I’ve just adjusted as needed. It is a bit annoying but not sure what can be done?

    Mine does the same. So much so that there’s a visible gap between the collar and the frame. It doesn’t move once set, so I just factored in the slight rise when setting the saddle height and just ride the thing. Life’s too short.
