I can relate to this. In Westchester, we have some vigilante placing branches on the bottoms of rollers and drops on sanctioned MTB trails. Placing boobytraps on trails is a violent crime and cannot be tolerated.
Hopefully the psychopath who did this ends up in prison.
The entitlement of people never ceases to amaze me. “I don’t want bikes in this nature so I’m going to pour toxic chemicals around, thereby making it shittier for myself”

Yoo. I live here. Interesting seeing this be shared to a wider audience.
Edit: Some more insider info. A lot of local riders are planning on putting up trail cams in the area to try and catch the person. Fingers crossed.

For what’s its worth this is literally at one of the most popular trail networks in the PNW Beacon Hill / Camp Sekani.
This entire area was slated for residential development and was saved by efforts from Evergreen East (our mtb community for Eastern Wa) and the local bikers.
Every trail here was built by bikers for shared use and this is what we get.

Dang that sucks! I can’t imagine what would happen if someone did that here at Duthie or Raging! They would probably get beat up real quick cause we have tons of people all the time on the trails.

Wow the person is really engaging the terrorist mode in those letters. Trail cams are the way to go and someone in the community might figure out who this person is if they aren’t a complete loner. Probably ranted about the bike trails to someone.
