I am currently running a GRX812 11-speed derailleur. I added a goat-link and a longer derailleur cage to allow me to use a Deore M5100 11-51 cassette. This has been working great, however, the GRX812 has now packed it in – the plate axle has seized and that means the clutch no longer works so it keeps dropping the chain.
Instead of purchasing another GRX812 derailleur, I was wondering if I could use a Deore derailleur that can handle the big cassette without modification. I'm currently looking at these two:

No, Shimano 11 speed road and mtb components use different pull ratios.
No. Shimano road derailleurs (including GRX) uses a different pull-ratio than shimano MTB.
No, i’ve tried that accidentally because i forgot to change my rd when converting to grx (stupid mistakes, lol) and it’s impossible to achieve crisps shifting without a tanpan.
