uh here we are stage 12 we’re over the hump in the tour to France today we slept right outside the start Village so uh pretty nice I mean it’s not often you get to do that so uh some extra time in bed no one’s going to complain about that they had some pump music going from 8:00 a.m. which was uh pretty exciting uh it’s nice but it was loud the whole night so uh prefer to say few me away we had car prison this morning I think I would prefer staying about 10 minutes outside of town but at the same time it’s pretty sweet to walk out and we’re right here right now when you wake up to the to the start Village outside like this it’s uh yeah puts you back into the tour to France [Music] [Music] know 8 morning [Music] where we are I don’t know France for [Music] sure definitely it’s not aerodynamic but it looks nice I don’t know I might have I can’t remember when I when I would have seen it but uh yeah I’ve definitely seen the Caravan before cuz I’ve I remember being pretty Blown Away by the melon car like how that thing even gets around France but um yeah it’s uh it’s pretty exciting I actually pretty impressed that there’s not more like stuff all over the road when we come through I guess they must have like a cleaning car come through because uh they’re like throwing stuff out to the out to the fans and yeah luckily when the pelaton rips through the town the fields and the cities uh the roads are clean again so that’s nice stage 12 is another opportunity for the sprinters though there will be some sore legs in the pelan after yesterday’s GC Blockbuster we are in some town in France I don’t know where I am exactly but today’s stage we are at K 167 we passed the Caravan once that it was in in front of the hotel then we left we passed it again and now this is still here uh so today it’s three times Caravan time Bally we’ll do a c fit here as I’m alone we’ll do bons uh really cold beon almost Frozen with uh ice gel just to keep the Riders uh Co like Co how long uh how long have you been a swaner for in cycling in cycling uh this is I think I think is my 15 years 15 years a long life huh I started getting old H how many days uh away do you spend a year on on the road uh half a year more or less half a year some years more some years less but it’s more or less half year you ever Miss home yeah I always miss my wife and my kids what’s the most number of bottles you’ve ever done in one feed depends uh how they come in the pellaton but if they are quite spread I think I gave seven out of eight so not bad today they did a they do a climb before to come here maybe come a little bit Al line possible six possible but in the normal barch and now the way they they they ride they ride like a group you can give two three it’s ult to give more than two uh number one rule of giving a feed never drop a bottle always look at the Riders never walk backwards Fast and Furious [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] I fore [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so onto the wheel go EF education easy post looking after Marin venberg it is 1200 M of racing to go this race is already at 52 km an hour arold Dee is there the front of the race then is EF but Baran Victorious get ready with Phil bouse just behind aan Marin Vandenberg Brian cochard oh a little bit of a squeeze 800 M of racing to go Cavendish is a little bit swamped in the middle Demar Gets Ready wow vanart is there vanart on the left hand side goes in the barriers and it’s on a dear how did w van not crash there who’s going to take it gay wins his hattick of stages in the tour yeah I wanted to go for it and yeah I tried but uh yeah I got boxed in on the right and I didn’t want to risk my life by uh rushing into the barrier so uh yeah I don’t know some gu are a bit crazy I [Music] guess I have a very very small crack in my trapezium bone um it’s basically at the base of your thumb but uh there’s not there’s not too much risk um to continue so yeah I’m going to keep going and uh as long as it doesn’t like get any worse or anything like that then I should be should be fine after the crash I I thought I was going to pull out and then it got a little bit better so I kept going and then I finished I was proud of that yeah the X-ray was so close to the finish line that we went and got it done um nothing showed up so then we went and got a CT scan um and they found a little something but yeah basically it was roller coaster for like 2 hours constantly thinking like oh my gosh like they’re going to say I have to pull out or like it’s going to be too serious to continue on and then and nothing would really show up so you’d think oh I have to maybe I maybe it’s fine but yeah in the end we’re all good um just a little little crack but uh nothing nothing too serious it’s not in a dangerous place really so very relieved um I get to continue just uh going ahead for tomorrow bottles and to have some extra for the day after tomorrow just to be [Applause] ahead basically taking care of the Riders that’s the main goal and then assist them on the road with the botles or the feet or whatever they need basically to be the Papas of the riders or the mommies or the masam CU at the end you spend I mean we are the only ones that spend 1 hour alone with the rider in a massage table they talk about stuff that is not cycling and they open up to you more than other people I guess maybe because you are the papa and the the benefit of the massage is to to kind of dissolve the Trier points is to reduce the time or to improve the time of the recuperation and also to uh to help the circulation the blood and the muscles to kind of clean the damage from the stage it’s kind of a confidence time between the the master and the in the right sometimes you can talk with many things it’s about the right so no ways actually to read the T the France is uh is one of the periods they they kind of relax without no media no bike no sport director’s meeting and this and that is here and the and in the room [Music] okay [Applause] [Music] done this is the best spot to live in summer [Music] [Music]

Great stuff! And hats off to whoever the editor is, really snappily cut
Can we get a car tour? How are those electric cars working for you? What are the logistics of using an electric instead of an ICE car for this kind of job?
Question: how many staff are on EF's TdF squad and how many vehicles ( cars, buses, vans, trucks….)? Ciao✌️
Thank goodness Powless is alright. Brutal.
To anyone reading the comments ; are there any other great channels like this where we can see more insides of grand tour and teams ?
Anyone else feel anxiety about getting those bottles to the riders?
how many bidons does a team go through in the whole tour
What song is playing throughout the video?
Question: Do you change team meals based on the stage profiles? Mountain stages a different meal than a flat stage? Thanks.

@EF PRO CYCLING What is the song in the background of the video?
Pretty tough job especially all those long days and for half of the year. And their salaries aren’t great. I wonder if they get paid in USD or Euros?
