good morning day 41 cycling my bike from the UK to Singapore uh did a little wild camp in Bulgaria last night here’s my campsite uh it wasn’t the best really uh there’s a train track over there and a highway there so it was kind of a little bit noisy and there was multiple gunshots drawing the night as well which is always a bit concerning quite far away but I could definitely hear them and uh seems to be like it’s some type of a spider cricket Sanctuary field like loads of spiders inside my tent see if I can just show you this big [Music] one is I think it’s only like a was spider it’s not harmless or anything if you like insects and uh come camp in this field in Bulgaria uh starting the day off with a large climb which is my last big climb till I get to eastanbul goes up to about 12200 M and then uh just some Rolling Hills into eastanbul for the next four or five days so should be good all right let’s get [Applause] it all right it’s about halfway through the climb brutal starting the day off with a 30 km climb but uh stop for a coffee there’s a nice waterf over there didn’t really have any breakfast just at Snickers bar so probably going to have a bit of porridge as well maybe two coffees chill out finish rest of the climb then a lovely lovely downhill as well it’s pretty hot already feeling pretty good like to feeling strong let’s get it today okay just getting to the top of the climb now little bit brutal but it wasn’t too bad 1100 M of altitude now think know the highest I’ve been on the trip so far we uh going to enjoy this nice cool downhill [Music] [Music] woo W woo that was a good descent loving it looks as though there’s some type of big Wildfire or something coming up don’t know if you can see it on [Applause] camera I hope it’s not in my way all right just passing the 100K Mark now I think about 12 Kil from this town I’m going to be staying in tonight woo I’m peped what a day lot the climate it’s pretty hot as well really takes out of you the the Heat and the hot winds what a beautiful country Bulgaria is um yeah been cycling like in this Basin most of the afternoon surrounded by these mountains quite a lot of Main Road cycling before pulled off onto this kind of Side Road yeah another day another 100K so it should be Turkish Border in two days I think and then onwards to Ean buulo so the last 5K into this town has a fabulous rare Bulgarian cycle path which is absolutely beautiful after a long go plenty of people and cyclists out as well it’s only about 1.7k to the hotel lovely shower hopefully some air conditioning and go and get some food for this evening [Music]
